Great Activities for Pregnant Women

Often when we think of play we think of children, but Mommas need to play too! Fun and play can help in two ways.
  1. It relieves stress and releases endorphins, which increases your feeling of wellbeing.
  2. Tapping into your playfulness helps you better relate to your baby by connecting with them through a shared joyful experience.
If you need to brush up in the fun department here are 5 ways to have fun during pregnancy.
Henna Your belly!
It is a fun way to explore and learn about another cultural artistic expression. Artfully dying the skin can be traced back to India, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and various African countries. Taking pictures of it would be a beautiful and memorable keepsake of your pregnancy. Make sure your henna is lead free. You can find belly henna kits online.
  1. Do A Maternity Shoot
Work your inner queen, diva or earth mother! Hey, do them all! However you like it dress up and dress down. This is your divine time. Work it out, but whatever you do have fun!
  2. Plan a Gender Reveal
Gender reveals are done in different ways. One way is, only a select few know the baby’s gender and plan creative parties for the big reveal. Sometimes the mom doesn’t even know, just to keep it more interesting. Parties can be as elaborate or as simple as you like. Some have pink or blue cake reveal the secret. Others have revealed with pink or blue confetti filled balloons. Get the people you love together to have fun and celebrate your baby before the baby shower.
  3. Take a Baby Moon
A Baby Moon is a great way to connect with your partner or a belly bestie and indulge yourself before the baby is born. A baby moon is ideal in the 3rd trimester to celebrate and mark the transition of a new chapter in your lives. Create a special memory for yourselves.
  4. Prenatal Massage
So this isn’t quite play but is it definitely needed. Oh the weary, achy bones, muscles and joints! The men have no idea what we women go through. Get yourself an essential oil massage and let the aches and tension melt away.
Let's make your pregnancy the sweetest memory!
